CSA Boys Teams Have Championship Outings

U16 Boys Fury

The competition was fierce in this 3 team bracket in the U-19 division,  the Fury playing 2 age groups up as a U-16 age team had their work cut out for them. It turned out to be a couple good days at the office as the Fury's 3 games saw them out shoot their opponents 35-7 and out scoring them 9-3. Coach Kris Klem highlighted Matt Hellbush as one of the outstanding performers of the weekend as he provided 3 goals in 3 games for the Fury.

This tournament victory helps in the teams preparation for a busy summer tournament season in which they will travel to the Denver Rush Open college showcase next weekend.  The Fury will be playing in the U-16 top division at the Rush Open in Denver Colorado and is very excited about the high quality competition they expect to see.  The Fury team have seen steady progress and look forward to a break-out season in Fall 2012!

U12 and U14 Boys

In the sweltering heat of memorial day weekend CSA saw two boys teams take Championship honors home with them from the CSA Shootout. Both U12 boys teams managed solid performances throughout the tournament which saw them both advance to face each other in the championship game. Brooke Bredenberg's U12 Boys Panthers nipped the championship in a close encounter.

The U14 Boys United used solid defense to secure their Championship honors only conceding 1 goal the entire tournament, but also showed they were no slouch in attack as they managed to score 16 goals on the weekend.
