Alex Scheuler named as spring U10/fall U11 boys coach

Alex Scheuler has been named as this spring's U10 boys coach.  He will work with the players and prepare them for tryouts that are held in June.  Alex will carry over and be the coach of the U11 boy's select team for next fall.  Alex has been coaching at CSA for over a year, in both our youth and select division. He is also an assistant coach for the Waverly Boy's Soccer team.

Here are the highlights of Alex's career - 
  • Has been playing soccer for over 20 years, including CSA, Lincoln Spirit, Lincoln Futbol, Waverly High School, & Cloud Community College 
  • His high school career included 4 year letter/starter, 3 time Eastern Midlands First Team All Conference Selection sophomore through senior years and honorable mention freshman year, 2 time all state honorable mention in Omaha World Herald and Lincoln Journal Star
  • His college career included Cloud Community College, starter every game KJCCC All Conference Honorable Mention and Team Captain Sophomore year
  • Coaching Career highlights includes Waverly Boy's JV head coach, assistant Varsity coach 2010 to present which includes organizing most of the off season activities (conditioning, indoor leagues, outdoor fall and summer leagues).  First year of head coach for the JV team he led them to the 3rd best record at Waverly for the boys program.  He has also most recently been involved in CSA as one of the U15 boy's coaches, a youth trainer and a sub coach when needed for other select teams at CSA.
