CSA Lightning u11 boys won the second session indoor division at Bison Sports Complex this past Friday 3-2 in overtime over Sporting Lincoln's U11 boys team. The game was a very hard fought and physical match, and despite that the CSA Lightning boys controlled play and the pace of the game. CSA Lightning struck first with Eli Jobst scoring the first goal about ten minutes in to go up 1-0. Sporting Lincoln equalized to make it 1-1 with about 20 minutes left. After a couple of great saves by the Sporting Lincoln goalkeeper sporting caught CSA Lightning on the break to put CSA down 1-2 with only 10 minutes left. After this CSA Lightning roared back with several chances, and finally equalized when Ethan Zaborowski flicked a pass into the path of Will Jessup who slotted it past the goalkeeper to make it 2-2. CSA Lightning almost won the match in regulation when Jameson Hoage's shot hit the post with under a minute left. After being tied 2-2 at the end of the regulation the game went into sudden death overtime and CSA Lightning made quick work of it. CSA Lightning took the kickoff and dropped the ball back to Ben Crotteau, who played a ball down the line to an onrushing Ethan Zaborowski. He was able to track the ball down and steer a cross across the face of the goal to a waiting Will Jessup who hammered the winning goal home from close range just 10 seconds into the overtime."
