Youth Coach


Position Summary:
Youth coaches are under the direction of the Youth Director and will follow the youth curriculum  to maximize player and character development.

Hours (part-time):
  • U7/8 Tuesday's 6:00-7:30PM & Sunday's one hour depending on game time between noon-5:00 pm
  • Micro - Sundays 2:45-4:15 pm
  • U9/10 - Monday & Thursday training - flexible with your schedule - 5:45-7:15 pm and games on Sundays through ENSA. This age group does require some traveling for games usually to Gretna or Omaha. Games are not always on Sunday, schedule can vary. Most schedules are 6-8 games in a season with 3-4 being to another city/location.

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and understanding of soccer
  • Passion for coaching children
  • Experience coaching 4-9 year old children (preferred)
  • USSF, NSCAA, or equivalent license (preferred) - If you do not have a license we will assist you with obtaining one.  

General Duties:
  • Instruct and follow Youth Curriculum as set forth by Youth Director
  • Be on time, organized, and respectful to players, parents, and staff
  • Attend Youth Coaching Seminar hosted by Youth Director
  • Work towards appropriate coaching license

Salary:
Commensurate with experience and licensing

  • Free registration for volunteer coaches in our youth program
  • All coaches get to play for free in our adult leagues each season that they are coaching
  • CSA provides club apparel for coaches and equipment for training
