Player Placement for Ages 10-19

Player Placement is one of the most important aspects of youth soccer today. Children want to enjoy the game while they are playing. Consequently it goes that players should be placed according ability level before anything else. Factors influencing placement are not exclusively those around ability, however, ability is the primary concern when placing a child with an appropriate team or program. Other factors to consider include a player’s social maturity level, physical maturity, commitment, and desire. For purposes of forming teams CSA will employ the following guidelines in each age group.

U10 through U19—Ability, maturity, desire and commitment levels

So, your child is needing a little more training or, better yet, wants more?
Check out the CSA GOLD ACADEMY.

Super Skills Academy

Ages 4-14

The Super Skills Academy is for those players who want to get extra training to refine their technical skills and develop the ability to play dynamically while under pressure. The Super Skills Academy will help you better prepare for challenges of competitive play and will help you become a more confident player on the ball.  You don’t need to be a CSA player to get into the Academy. Additional information about our upcoming academies can be found on our home page of the website.

Gold League

The Gold League is a small-sided league for High School aged players. Game format is 7 v 7. The league is used as a training tool for players in those age groups and is held in the summer and fall seasons.
