Micro Soccer

Ages (kids born between 08/01/2005 & 07/31/2008)

Our micro soccer program has a rich history of getting players started the right way. The focus of our program is to help your child develop a love for the sport of soccer. Introduction to the game and the fundamental skills of soccer will be joyfully delivered in a variety of fun activities geared to bring laughter, enjoyment, and the love of the game to your child. Micro season is typically six to eight weeks long and is offered in the spring, fall, and winter and is normally played on Sundays in the spring and fall, and Saturday mornings in the winter.  Teams of 10-12 players are formed according to friend requests and school districts.  Games at this age are predominantly 3 v 3. A typical hour will include 30-40 minutes of skill instruction followed by 20-30 minutes of playing.  Our indoor sessions focus more on just training and less focus on games.  Teams are not formed for the indoor sessions.

All training and games are played at the Abbott Soccer Complex located just north of Cornhusker on 70th. All training is led by Micro Director Brooke Bredenburg and Youth Director Peter Underwood.

CSA is now accepting registrations for our upcoming Spring 2012 season.   All U4 and U5 players will be at 3:00 pm and all U6 players will be at 4:00 pm, with games starting on 04/01/2012.  To register for our upcoming spring season please click here to download the pdf registration form and mail to the office.

NEW TO CSA - 3 YEARS OF AGE MICRO BUDDY PROGRAM

Do you have a 3 year old that wants to be involved in fun filled activities?  New to CSA this spring we are offering a program that will allow your 3 year old to participate in training activities too.  This program requires a buddy to help the 3 year old, but will be led by a qualified instructor.  We will have fun filled activities teaching your little soccer player how to do basic skills with or without the ball.  The program runs every Sunday 3:00 pm from 04/15 - 05/13 for a total of 5 sessions.
