ACADEMIES:

Attacking & Defending Camp - Monday & Tuesday, August 17 & 18, 9:00am - 12:00pm
Cost: $60.00
Ages: 9-14

ATTACKING & DEFENDING CAMP

In the attacking part of this camp, learn and further develop the skills required to be succesful in the attacking third of the field.  A number of skills will be taught, among them:

 - finishing with power, finishing with placement, hitting front, side and half volleys, finishing from a 1v1 move, finishing breakaways, finishing headers, finishing from turns, 1v1 attacking, 2v1 play, penetrative play

In the defending part of this camp, learn the skills required to handle the opposing player.  Regardless of where you play, the game demands that you be able to handle  yourself defensively.  A number of skills will be taught among them:

-  intercepting and preventing the turn, defending in 1v1 and 2v1 situations, open field, using the sideline, 2v1 situations, both tackling and slide tackling, heading for distance
