Sporting Nebraska FC Financial Assistance Program

 

As a non-profit, full service youth soccer club, Sporting Nebraska FC strives to provide an affordable and competitive experience for all Sporting Nebraska FC members.  Financial Assistance is provided on a first come, first serve basis, and is based upon the allocated funds set forth by the Finance Committee, along with financial needs of the family. 

 

Financial Assistance is awarded on an annual basis, and is reviewed in conjunction with the Team Formation time frames set by the Nebraska State Soccer Association and can only be submitted and reviewed upon the player receiving an Invitation to join a team.  The amount of financial assistance funds available is finite and based upon the budget of Sporting Nebraska FC.  

 

Financial Assistance applications are reviewed by the Finance Committee, which consists of Sporting Nebraska FC board members. Information submitted is confidential and is used for the sole purpose of determining eligibility for financial assistance.   

 

Financial Assistance awarded is only for Registration with Sporting Nebraska FC per NSSA policies.  All Team Fees, Personal Travel Fees, Training Kits,  Uniforms, Camps, etc… are the sole responsibility of the family, so be sure you are able to budget for those additional costs before applying.  Additionally, Sporting Nebraska FC provides an Installment Payment Plan for all families within our programs and that information is available upon registration of your child.  

 

The Deadline to submit a Financial Assistance Application is listed below and Sporting Nebraska FC will not accept any applications after the listed deadline dates and no further applications will be accepted after July 16th or once all of the allocated funds have been exhausted.  

 

• U11-U13 Age Groups (Birth years 2013, 2012 & 2011) - Submission Deadline is June 16th

• U14-U19 Age Groups (Birth years 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, & 2005) - Submission Deadline is July 7th  

• ECNL & GA Program Players - Submission Deadline is June 23rd

• Omaha Academy Players - Submission Deadline is June 12th

• Lincoln Academy Players - Submission Deadline is July 7th

 

 

The #IMPACT of financial assistance allows children to participate in soccer while developing a lifelong passion for the game. In the past two years, Sporting Nebraska FC has awarded over $60,000 in financial assistance to children in all of our programs.
